Publishing services in Kent

Our Publishing department includes subscription management and Internet solutions. The department currently offers a great deal of experience and expertise in detailing, processing and determining solutions for individual clients.

Marketing

We are able to offer a wide range of marketing services. We plan, design, and copy-write leaflets to promote publications. The leaflet can be then used in promoting the journal at conferences or trade fairs, as well as being part of a direct-mail campaign. Another service designed to promote awareness of, and usage of the journal in libraries, is the internet Table of Contents alerting service. This offers those interested in the journal, the opportunity to receive a list of the publication contents, coinciding with the publication of that issue. To register for this service, the user simply has to send us an email with a request to join the mailing list.

Advertising

Headley Brothers Ltd has been involved in selling advertising for medical publications for over half a century.
We work on maximising and maintaining sales for prestigious publications that are at the centre of their profession.

Subscriptions

We offer a fully-computerised subscription fulfilment service, handled totally in-house. We initiate invoices direct to customers and to agencies. We can handle all banking, credit card facilities up to audit status. We deal with despatching world-wide by airfreight, holding stock if required.

Renewals

Starting off with a renewal notice in August for the next year, we are vigilant in ensuring that subscribers are given every opportunity to renew. We work to a precise timetable, generating renewal notices and invoices, as well as an annual mail-out to appropriate long-expired subscribers, with the goal of maintaining the subscription base.

Claims

We also have extensive experience in handling claims from subscribers. With our tested procedures, we minimise loss due to mis-claiming, out-of-date claims, and ensure that only valid claims are fulfilled. When it is too late to claim, the subscriber can purchase the missing issue as a back issue.

International service

We distribute an annual price list to subscription agents all over the world. This goes out in mid summer, to give the agents the maximum time to pass on the information to their clients.
